Vector Institute is offering an Applied AI Program Design & Delivery Intern role in Toronto, Canada. The internship provides hands-on learning in AI adoption, knowledge transfer, and industry collaboration, with a paid arrangement for 36.25 or 20 hours per week during Jan–Apr 2027.

Start date Jan 11, 2027; end date Apr 23, 2027. Preference to applicants from Black and Indigenous communities as part of Ontario's inclusive initiatives.

Qualifications

• Self-identify as Black or Indigenous or be a recent graduate as outlined in the profile.
• Studying at a Canadian university or college, or a recent graduate within one semester of graduation.
• Motivated to apply ML techniques to real-world problems.
• Act as a technical translator to help non-technical people understand ML and AI.
• Familiarity with GSuite and/or MS Office 365 applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and management of AI upskilling and education programs.
• Assist in design, development, and management of AI programs and projects; manage project plans and logistics.
• Leverage AI/ML knowledge to recommend use cases, speakers, and content for seminars.
• Support delivery of Industry Innovation programs by coordinating meetings with sponsors and tracking items.
• Conduct and audit research on content for AI talks and webinars; perform literature reviews.
• Provide analysis and create reports for training programs and projects; support end-of-course deliverables.
