Responsibilities:

  • Provide process and/or thermal design of oil and gas processing equipment.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering to complete equipment designs.
  • Complete cost estimates and produce formal quotations for oil and gas processing equipment.
  • Work towards the development and publishing of product standards.
  • Request quotations from sub-suppliers, and review proposals on a technical and commercial basis.
  • Provide technical support to various functional groups, including project management, drafting, and production.
  • Conduct and complete process design work and/or estimating of natural gas processing equipment.
  • Make recommendations for improved process and efficiency, working to add value to all stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture that promotes leadership in health and safety, ethical business practices, individual integrity, social responsibility, and operational performance.
  • Help maintain a culture of effective communication and ensure the team is informed and aligned in achieving operational and strategic goals.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation throughout all departments within the business.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in applications engineering for process equipment manufacturingand a strong desire to join a winning team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Familiarity with process design and simulation tools (Aspen HYSYS, HTRI), AutoCAD, NavisWorks, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
