Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a Senior Business System Analyst to provide production support for critical applications in a Toronto-based role.

You will analyze incidents, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliable service delivery. The role involves monitoring performance, conducting root-cause analysis, managing changes and deployments, on-call duties, and maintaining runbooks and knowledge articles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis or similar
• Strong experience with production support and incident management
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for applications and services.
• Monitor application health, system performance, and service availability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs; perform RCA for recurring issues.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams for issue resolution.
• Manage incident, problem, and change requests through ticketing tools.
• Perform application deployments and production releases per change management processes.
• Support batch processing, job monitoring, and scheduling activities.
• Create and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and support documentation.
• Participate in on-call support and weekend maintenance activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and operational standards.
