What is the opportunity?
This is a production support role for the Charles River Investment Management System, used by institutional investment portfolio managers and traders.
What will you do?
Investigate and resolve day to day production support issues. This role involves rotational on-call and occasional weekend support
Maintain the health and safety of production systems and applications. Identifies risks and proposes actions to mitigate
Work with development teams and business partners to provide input on best IT solutions to a business problem
Collaborate with interfacing applications and third-party vendors to meet business requirements and project objectives
Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, management, stakeholders, infrastructure teams and interfacing groups using a variety of techniques from initiation to closure
Build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information systems
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL ( DDL, DML, DCL, DQL)
Working knowledge of Windows Server, Operating System Admin, CMD commands
Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and documentation skills
Nice to have
Prior hands-on expertise with the Charles River application
Trading life cycle knowledge
Mainframe JCL, ITIL foundation, Windows Batch scripting, UNIX shell scripting, ServiceNow
