THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking anApplications Project Managerto join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review opportunities with the team to assist in the determination of methodology for the design of the offering.
- Work with a technical sales person in the development of compressor performance and quote.
- Calculate process sizing and provide input on equipment layout.
- Interface with sub-vendors.
- Review customer specifications and compare them to standards.
- Track customer specifications and build a library for easy reference in the future.
- Interpret clarifications and questions from clients and adjust offering accordingly.
- Complete technical and commercial offering of compression packages.
- Provide assistance in tool development and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technology diploma, engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- Applications, Project Management, Engineering, Fabrication, Field and/or Sales Engineering experience in the oil and gas and/or compression industry.
- Familiarity with relevant industry practices and codes (ASME, ANSI, API, ISO),
- Experience with multiple technical facets including mechanical, process, electrical and civil.
- Excellent MS Excel and Word skills.
- Applications software skills in reciprocating and screw compression (ideally Ariel, GE, Sullair, Kobelco, Frick, etc.)
- Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications and drawings.
- Ability to be innovative and capable of critical analysis and problem solving.
- Results oriented individual with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tight time lines.
- Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours to achieve deadlines and commitments.
- Complete comprehensive technical and commercial turnover document for execution team
- Effective interpersonal communication, influencing and organizational skills.
