Job summary

Richards-Wilcox Canada is seeking an Application Developer to join our Engineering Team in Mississauga, ON. Qualifications

  • Experience with ASP.NET, .NET/C#, AngularJS or modern front-end frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience integrating third-party applications and enterprise systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and their business applications.
  • Experience using AI-related tools, services, or APIs such as Azure AI Services or OpenAI APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, implement, and maintain CPQ applications, web applications, integrations, and services.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Support projects from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Provide technical expertise on CPQ capabilities, best practices, and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and data-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product enhancements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and high-performing code following established development standards.
  • Learn and work with new technologies, frameworks, and tools as required.
  • Contribute to AI-driven initiatives, including intelligent automation and conversational assistants.

Role Description This is a full-time, Application Developer role is based in Mississauga, ON. Richards-Wilcox Canada is seeking an Application Developer to join our Engineering Team. In this role, you will develop, enhance, and support business-critical applications, integrations, and Configure One (Revealize) CPQ solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable web applications and contribute to AI-enabled business solutions that improve productivity, automation, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, implement, and maintain CPQ applications, web applications, integrations, and services.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Experience with ASP.NET, .NET/C#, AngularJS, or modern front-end frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience integrating third-party applications and enterprise systems.
  • Strong communicationand collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results independently.
  • Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and their business applications.
  • Experience using AI-related tools, services, or APIs such as Azure AI Services, OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Copilot, or intelligent automation platforms.
  • Understanding ofresponsible AI practices, including privacy, security, and model validation.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Configure One (Revealize) or other Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) platforms.
  • Experience with Quote-to-Cash business processes.
  • Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience building AI-enabled solutions such as chat assistants, recommendation engines, workflow automation, document summarization, or intelligent search.
  • Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, orMLOpsconcepts.
  • Experience with Python for automation, AI, analytics, or data processing.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployment practices.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, ora relatedfield.
  • Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • Coursework, certifications, or hands-on project experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Intelligent Automation are considered strong assets.
  • Microsoft Azure, AI, cloud, or software development certifications are considered assets.
