Job summary

ERCO Worldwide is seeking an Application Developer to join our Toronto team, reporting to the Application Development Team Lead in Information Technology. The role emphasizes full-stack development using Power Platform, Azure, SharePoint Online, and related technologies.

You will design, build, test, and support applications, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive adoption through training and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in CS/Software Eng or related field.
  • 3–6 years of software development and application support experience.
  • Up to 2 years of experience with React and/or C# .NET; N8N preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack business applications.
  • Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Develop with Power Platform, Azure, SharePoint Online, and related technologies.
  • Provide ongoing application support and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation.
  • Deliver user training and support successful adoption of new solutions.
  • Manage priorities across multiple projects in an Agile environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance applications.

ERCO Worldwide is looking for an Application Developer to join our Toronto team! This individual will be responsible for full stack application development, reporting to the Application Development Team Lead of Information Technology. Responsible for the implementation of innovative business systems solutions, leveraging Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure (App Services, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Azure AD), Azure SQL DB, and SharePoint online.

The Role:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack business applications.
  • Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Services, SharePoint Online, and related technologies.
  • Provide ongoing application support and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation.
  • Deliver user training and support successful adoption of new solutions.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple projects in an Agile environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance existing applications and processes.
The Person:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • 3-6 years of experience in software development and application support.
  • Up to 2 years experience developing applications using React and/or C# .NET is required, N8N experience is preferred.
  • Experience with software design principles and modern development practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Azure.
  • 1-3 years of Power Platforms experience is preferred.
  • Experience with CoPilot Studio is an asset.
  • Should be able to demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving skills and be able to talk to specific demonstrable experience in solution design and these platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
