Qualifications

Job Description

We are looking for a well-rounded Application Consultant to execute the delivery of integration projects involving Fiix and third-party systems. This role requires strong technical acumen—particularly in integration design and configuration—as well as project coordination skills to manage timelines, scope, and client communication. Some understanding of maintenance operations or experience in the manufacturing or similar industry will be a bonus.

Rockwell Automation acquired Fiix in December 2020. As an application consultant, you will collaborate with the internal developers and client stakeholders to translate business needs into integration specifications, support solution design, and oversee project execution through to testing and handover.

You will report to the Manager - Integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document integration requirements from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Translate requirements into technical designs for secure, scalable integrations.

  • Configure integration solutions in collaboration with developers using tools like Boomi and Fiix APIs.

  • Coordinate project timelines, manage scope changes, and maintain clear communication with clients.

  • Facilitate and document project meetings, action items, and decisions throughout the lifecycle.

  • Guide clients through end-to-end system testing and support resolution of technical issues.

  • Provide best practices and technical guidance on API usage and integration standards.

  • Assist customers with local runtime setup and configuration (where required).

  • Act as the primary point of contact for issue escalation and resolution during active projects.

  • Maintain project documentation.

The Essentials- You will have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.

  • Legal authorization to work in the Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred- You may also have

  • 2+ years of experience within maintenance operations or experience in the manufacturing or similar field.

  • 2+ years of experience in software implementation or SaaS.

  • Comfortable managing projects and client communication, while working with technical teams.

  • A strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication methods and data formats (JSON/XML)

  • 2+ years of experience with BOOMI software.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor of position level and compensation.
