Job summary

Trail Appliances is seeking energetic sales professionals to join our Western Canada showrooms. In this role you will help customers select appliances, build relationships, and drive sales through in-store and phone conversations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years retail or sales experience
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country
• Appliance knowledge preferred
• Second language: Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Punjabi, or Hindi

• Proactively pursue and hunt for business through cold calling, networking, and community presence
• Consult with customers in showroom and over the phone to match needs with products

• Guaranteed salary during training to help you get started (12-months - youget tokeep the higherof the two:commission OR guaranteed training salary).
• After 12 months, the role is a 100% commission opportunity with uncapped and unlimited earning potential! Within your first year, you can earn commissions and qualify for in-house and manufacturer incentives.

• Min 3 to 5 years retail or sales experience preferably in a similar role or customer service setting
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Must have the ability to travel to assigned store or learning facility
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located

• Appliance or industry knowledge
• Second language: Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Punjabi, and Hindi
• You can relate to our customers' by having laundered clothes, unloaded a dishwasher, arranged items in a refrigerator or have prepared a tasty meal
• Passion for or an interest in “lifestyle” (food, wine, cooking, fashion, coffee, home design, and/or construction)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
