AOC Youth Kitchen Helper

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC WITH PREFERENCE TO TH CITIZENS

Under the supervision of the Kitchen Coordinator, the Youth Kitchen Helper is responsible for a variety of duties which include but are not limited to grocery shopping, food preparation and assist with cooking, assist with food delivery and clean up. This position will be responsible for mitigating allergies and dietary needs as identified by the cook.

Essential Qualifications:

• Must be a Youth aged 15-30.
• Cooking courses or equivalent experience an asset.
• Good working knowledge of Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in culture and traditions.
• Experience safely utilizing knives and other kitchen equipment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage allergens and dietary needs.
