Android Lead Developer / Technology Lead - CAN

Infosys is seeking an Android Tech Lead.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our Android applications, leveraging your technical expertise across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements elicitation, architecture, design, coding, testing, and support activities. Required Qualifications:

• Must be within commuting distance of Mississauga/Toronto, ON, or willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; three years of progressive experience can substitute for each year of education.
• At least 6 years of Android development experience with successful application shipping.
• Expertise in Kotlin and Java.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship; no immigration sponsorship provided.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 6 years in Android development.
• Experience with Kotlin, Java, and hybrid mobile technology Flutter.
• Experience with cloud platforms, backend tech, and modern design patterns (MVVM, Viper, Dagger).
• Strong skills in Android Studio, testing frameworks, third-party SDKs, problem-solving, and collaboration.
• Experience in Telecom domain and global delivery environment.

The role involves extended computer work and communication via various channels, with potential extensive travel.

Estimated annual compensation in Ontario ranges from $89,004 to $115,491.
