About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Model Builder to join our Intelligent Data & Enterprise Automation Team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of Anaplan models to support enterprise planning initiatives. You will act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and provide technical mentorship to junior team members.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize Anaplan models to support planning and forecasting processes.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Anaplan model architectures.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Conduct model testing, validation, performance tuning, and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior model developers.
  • Manage model version control, oversee release cycles, and uphold model governance standards.
  • Support data integration between Anaplan and external systems (e.g., Azure, SQL).
  • Deliver end-user support through training sessions and comprehensive documentation.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to efficient project delivery using DevOps practices.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan model building
  • In-depth understanding of Anaplan best practices, model optimization, and workspace management
  • Proven experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers
  • Strong analytical thinking and business acumen, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Experience with SQL and data integration tools (e.g., Azure, SSIS)
  • Familiarity with automation platforms such as UiPath or Microsoft Power Platform
  • Exposure to reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Experience working in Agile environments with a focus on stakeholder collaboration and delivery
