About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Anaplan Model Builder to join our [Finance/Operations/Planning] team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Anaplan models to support enterprise-wide planning and forecasting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into efficient, optimized models that drive decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build, test, and deploy Anaplan models to support planning, forecasting, and reporting functions.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into model designs.
3. Develop user-friendly dashboards and interfaces in Anaplan.
4. Maintain and optimize existing models to improve performance and scalability.
5. Document model architecture, processes, and user guides.
6. Partner with the Anaplan COE (Center of Excellence) and IT teams to ensure alignment with governance and best practices.
7. Support change management and user adoption through training and ongoing support.
8. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of experience in Anaplan model building or enterprise planning tools (Anaplan certification is a strong plus).
2. Solid understanding of business planning processes (e.g., FP&A, workforce planning, supply chain).
3. Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
4. Experience with Excel, data modeling, and handling large data sets.
5. Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., Anaplan Connect, Informatica, APIs).
6. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field.

Nice to Have:

1. Anaplan Level 2 or Solution Architect certification.
2. Experience in Agile methodologies or working in a COE structure.
3. Industry-specific planning experience (e.g., SaaS, CPG, Manufacturing, Retail).
