Job summary

RBC seeks a data-oriented analytics professional to design and build end-to-end analytics solutions centered on semantic layers and a modern data stack. You will translate requirements into robust data models, transformations, and semantic layers while driving quality and maintainability.

You will tackle complex technical and analytical problems, enable self-service analytics, and collaborate with data engineers, governance experts, analysts, data scientists, product teams and business users to

Qualifications

Semantic layer expertise: 2+ years with analytics platforms and semantic layers.
Hands-on modern data stack: dbt, cloud data warehouses, and semantic layer concepts.
Outcome-focused problem solver with emphasis on impact and data quality.
Clear communicator able to explain constraints and possibilities clearly.

Responsibilities

Design and build analytics solutions: translate requirements into end-to-end analytics, models, and semantic layers.
Solve technical and analytical problems: navigate data scenarios and trade-offs.
Enable self-service analytics: support semantic model delivery and data contracts for analysts.
Collaborate effectively: work with data engineers, governance, analysts, data scientists and product teams.
Support technical standards: promote best practices for dimensional design, metrics governance and data quality.
