Job summary

RBC is seeking a data and AI-enabled operations professional to partner with IT teams across the stack. You will analyze, research, and resolve system issues while delivering new tech solutions on Spark, BigData, and SQL-based platforms.

The role emphasizes data quality, availability, and regulatory readiness with strong scripting and ETL skills. You will work on DataStage/IDP ETL, Tableau reporting, and integrate AI tools to scale operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with Datalake, Spark, Hive Databases and SQL.
• ETL and reporting concepts knowledge required.
• Familiarity with Windows environments and Python/Spark/Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of IT standards, SDLC, security and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research, and resolve system issues; develop new tech solutions.
• Collaborate across IT groups; support AI-enabled data initiatives.
• Support data platforms for high availability and regulatory support.
• Develop and support Python, Spark, HQL, SQL, and Snowflake jobs.
• Create production change records and document designs and codes.
• Monitor incidents and service requests; mentor junior staff.
