We are seeking an Analytics Engineer at Flip to be our "agent of change," helping us build best practices around data pipelines and support experimentation and implementation of agentic AI to enhance business intelligence, analytics, and potential machine learning applications. The role requires staying updated on the evolving AI and data landscape and proactively identifying relevant use cases.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable data models and pipelines using tools like dbt, SQL, and Python.
• Design and implement high-performance data architectures for processing, storage, and retrieval.
• Develop data workflows supporting analytics, experimentation, and real-time reporting.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, and engineers to deliver insights and support data-driven decisions.
• Build and operationalize LLM-based or agentic AI systems, including fine-tuning pipelines and feedback loops.
• Contribute to governance, documentation, and observability of data assets and AI processes.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and performance across services.

Requirements :

• 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, AI Engineer, or Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data transformation tools like dbt.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, preferably with platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Experience with GCP stacks (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub / Sub, etc.).
• Experience working with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Llama) for internal tools or applications.
• Familiarity with embedding models and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS).
• Ability to write clean, modular, and reusable code and data models.

Nice to Have :

• Knowledge of open source stacks (Debezium, Kafka, duckDB).
• Experience with data observability tools.
• Background in analytics or experimentation, including A / B testing frameworks.
• Experience with real-time or event-driven data processing (Kafka, Pub / Sub).
• Prior experience in fintech, marketplaces, or AI-native companies.
