Job summary

CIBC Simplii Analytics in Toronto is seeking a student analyst to develop reports, charts, and models that help partners assess performance and profitability. You will work with SQL, Python, and BI tools in a collaborative setting within a temporary role.

You will engage with Sales, Product, Marketing, Risk, and Finance teams, gaining hands-on experience in data-driven decision making while supporting business goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies.
• Familiar with SQL for querying databases.
• Experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis (Pandas, Scikit‑learn).
• Business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI; Excel/PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple data sources to develop reports, charts, models and analysis for decision makers.
• Provide quick, accurate reporting for key business partners on a regular and ad hoc basis.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client needs in a timely manner.
