Job summary

CuBE Packaging in Canada is seeking a Power BI & Power Platform Developer who turns raw data into actionable reports and automates business processes to boost operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.

You will design Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), create Power Automate workflows, build interactive dashboards, manage data models, collaborate with stakeholders, train end users, and ensure solutions follow security and best-practice standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Proficiency in data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehouse concepts.
• Knowledge of data integration techniques and AI tools to enhance automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Power Platform applications and automate processes.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain and update existing Power BI and Power Automate solutions and provide user training.
• Create technical documentation and stay updated with best practices in the Power Platform.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Power Bi & Power Platforms Developer bridges the gap between business needs and technology by transforming raw data into meaningful reports and automating business processes to improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making

Key Responsibilities and Skills

Solution design and development

• Design and develop custom business applications using PowerApps(Canvas and Model-Driven).
• Create automated workflows and optimize processes with Power Automate.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable data insights.
• Build and manage data models and ensure data integrity.

Collaboration and requirements gathering

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and pain points.
• Act as a technical contact for senior management and end-users, providing strategic reporting support.

Technical management and support

• Maintain and update existing Power Bi and Power Automate Solution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Power Bi and Power Automate Solution.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and follow best practices.
• Provide training and technical support to end-users.

Documentation and Best Practices

• Create detailed technical documentation for developed applications.
• Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in the Power Platform.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Proficiency in data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query.

Standard Hours of Work

Common work schedule is Monday through Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm
