Job Summary

Under the responsibility of the Senior Demand Planning Manager, the Demand Planning Analyst develops and manages forecast plans for regular and promotional volumes for existing and new products by SKU, category, customer, and location. Responsibilities include maintaining system parameters in the forecasting environment to produce accurate and timely projections in units, dollars, and size units. The role involves collaborating with procurement operations teams, managing forecast data, and working closely with procurement strategy teams to communicate and validate forecast volumes.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Analyze historical data and define key assumptions to generate, manage, and calibrate a statistical baseline forecast for all SKUs, categories, customers, and location levels.
  • Capture sales forecasts and identify market trends to adjust demand based on SKU selection and pricing.
  • Revise key assumptions and adjust demand plans based on past events and inputs from vendors and customers.
  • Exchange information with procurement, supply solutions, and hospital distribution teams to adjust forecasts based on market and contractual changes.
  • Implement joint business plans with account management and customers, including forecasted volumes and inventory commitments.
  • Investigate gaps between forecasts, commitments, and actuals with vendors and customers.
  • Provide projections on capacity risks to distribution center operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends and act as an ambassador of McKesson’s values.
Position Requirements
  • 1-3 years’ experience in demand planning, preferably with JDA forecasting system experience.
  • Experience in retail, wholesale, cosmetics, OTC, or food sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, statistics, operations management, engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and partnership skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with ERP, planning, and replenishment systems; MS Office suite knowledge.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and collaborate across teams.
Additional Notes

This position involves supporting clients outside Quebec and the U.S., requiring proficiency in English. The salary range is $70,600 - $117,600, with competitive benefits and total rewards.
