Job summary

Avison Young is hiring a Data Analyst for its Market Intelligence team in Canada. You will manage, validate, and enrich commercial real estate data across multiple sources and platforms, ensuring accuracy and supporting decisions for leasing, investments and development.

You will work with Excel, SQL and visualization tools to generate insights, with opportunities to collaborate with teams nationwide and influence strategic direction in fast‑paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in real estate data analytics or related role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL; Python/R is an asset.
• Experience with data visualization tools and presenting data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage, validate, analyze and enrich commercial real estate data within proprietary platforms.
• Ensure data quality through audits, controls and regular checks.
• Research and enrich data from diverse sources including publications and public records.
• Track leasing activity, investments and market trends to support market intelligence.
• Prepare data summaries, visualizations and analyses for market reports and deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross‑Canada teams on data initiatives and platform improvements.
