Job summary

Airbus Canada Limited Partnership is seeking a QA Analyst (CAT1) to join the Certification team in Mirabel, Quebec. You will declare aircraft readiness for flight tests and certify conformity to design data, working with Prévol and Delivery teams to ensure safe, compliant aircraft delivery.

The role requires a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering background or equivalent, with 5–8 years in aerospace, and licenses for large aircraft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a DEC in Engineering or Aeronautics, with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Valid AME M2 license or US A&P license for large aircraft.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Declare the aircraft ready for production flight test and certify conformity to approved design data.
• Issue the Declaration of Conformity after manufacturing.
• Verify compliance as Category 1 Signatory when additional work is performed on newly manufactured aircraft.
• Make required logbook entries and manage airworthiness certificates.
• Prepare status reports on Airworthiness Directives and certify compliance.
• Analyze and resolve findings raised by Transport Canada.
• Drive innovative solutions to improve quality, reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead quality projects to meet customer requirements and promote a culture of quality.
