Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking an Analyst for the Store Accounting Department in Laval, QC. The role is a temporary full-time on-site position (37.5 hours) reporting to the Merchandise Accounting Supervisor.

You will analyze merchandise in-store, inventory, and related income statement items while ensuring SOX-compliant documentation. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent), at least one year of relevant experience, solid Excel skills, and bilingual English/French

• Periodically analyze and document balance sheet items related to store accounting.
• Periodically analyze store income statement expense items.
• Analyze average costs of non-standard merchandise and take corrective action.
• Validate all data provided by the store and stakeholders.
• Produce documents required by SOX standards.
• Support store operations in their financial analysis.

Analyst, Store Accounting Department

Accounting Location: On site, Laval, QC (4204 boulevard Industriel, H7L 0E3) Type of employment: Temporary contract, Full Time (37,5 hours)

Under the responsibility of the Merchandise Accounting Supervisor, within the Operational Accounting team, the Store Accounting Analyst will provide an accounting service to the stores under his responsibility while analyzing what concerns the merchandise in store as well as various items appearing on the income statement.

What You’ll Need
