Who we are
The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) works at the centre of the province’s power system, ensuring Ontarians have access to reliable and cost-effective electricity when and where they need it. We operate the province’s electricity grid 24/7, design, run and oversee the wholesale electricity markets, and plan and prepare to meet Ontario’s electricity needs – now and into the future.
The opportunity
Oneregular position is available in the Business Services and Solutions Department (BSSD) of Information & Technology Services to support the life cycle of business solutions as required by the IESO. The Revenue Metering & Settlement System Support (RMSS) is primarily responsible for enhancing and maintaining the business solutions that are required to settle the electricity market and manage the corporation (e.g. corporate services, human resources, information governance) and support IT service management. This role is with the Enterprise Business Solutions team which manages the business solutions for the corporation and support IT service management. The team members perform a number of key roles such as application support, data analysis, project management, and solution and business analysis. This role will aid in the application support as needed with a speciality in human resources information system, enterprise record management system, enterprise service management system, payroll, timekeeping and other financial management systems.

The IESO offers a hybrid work model program to most of our employees, based on business needs. Individuals participating in the program can work an average of three days per week remotely within Ontario. It also offers three flex weeks when individuals can work remotely within Ontario . When working in the office, you will be located at our Mississauga, ON location.
