About Us

Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future. The Role

Reporting to the manager, supplier relationship, this role provides an opportunity for a student to gain experience working with Cameco’s northern Saskatchewan contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. You will help foster collaborative relationships with contractors by assisting with the implementation and establishment of workforce and business development strategies. This includes assisting with initiatives, projects, tracking performance metrics and actions aimed to improve capabilities while understanding how northern contractor partnerships and collaboration agreements contribute to Cameco's business success.

In this role, you will:

Required:
  • Entering your third or fourth year at the Edwards School of Business, majoring in human resources, management, or supply chain management;
  • You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco;
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills; and
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities.
Recommended:
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across cross-functional teams; and
  • proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
