Our Investment Services team is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s interaction with clients. This includes communicating the firm’s investment views, ensuring the efficient execution of any instructions and providing any reporting or other information that the client requires. The team is also responsible for developing relationships with prospective clients. The Opportunity :

We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our team. The Analyst role amongst our Investment Services Team is one that is dynamic and challenging, with a strong focus on both personal and professional growth. The team works in collaboration with all departments, contributing to the firm’s growth and increased standing as a global, independent investment manager that is always committed to acting ethically and serving clients’ best interests.

Primary responsibilities :

• Support Investment Counsellors in the analysis & preparation of their client’s portfolios and custom research reports.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs from consultants and other institutional prospective clients.
• Support original content creation to enhance the quality of communication with clients.
• Working independently and within the team on ongoing strategic initiatives.
• Updating and reviewing presentations, website content, quarterly marketing material.
• Participate in the production of performance attribution commentary and analysis for investment strategies sent to clients and prospects.
• Strengthen the business development team’s efforts and strategies in sourcing accurate information on potential prospects.
• Create and maintain competitor intelligence profiles and landscapes.
• Liaise with the investment management team to provide pertinent, current information on portfolio holdings to the investment services team.

Candidate Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance with an interest in business.
• An interest in pursuing the CFA designation is preferred.
• Between 0-2 years of relevant work experience – experience within the investment management or investment banking industry preferred but not required.
• Professional presence with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated individual with a high energy level. Dedicated, well-organized and resourceful individual with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Team player with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and demonstrates initiative; ability to work without a lot of structure.
• Must have a strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.
• Experience with eVestment or Bloomberg would be an asset.
• Knowledge of the institutional investment industry would be an asset.
• Bilingualism would be an asset (French and English).
