Vale Base Metals is seeking an Analyst II, Commercial to join our Logistics team in Canada, based in Toronto or Sudbury. You will manage port requirements, rail logistics, transportation services, and inventory visibility for Vale products across multiple modes.
You will coordinate contracts, monitor KPIs, support cost analyses, and collaborate with internal teams to align with safety, regulatory, and production goals, while ensuring timely and reliable service across the supply chain.

We are currently seeking a Analyst II, Commercial to join our Logistics team within the Commercial function. This role may be based in Toronto or Sudbury, Canada, and travel is be required to support port, warehousing, transportation, site, supplier, and stakeholder activities.
As the Analyst II, Commercial, you will support the efficient and effective management of port requirements, rail logistics, transportation services, logistics contracts, inventory visibility, stakeholder coordination, invoice validation, and compliance requirements for Vale products, including final products, intermediate materials, and third‑party feed material.
This is a hands‑on logistics role with broad operational reach. You will work across multiple transportation modes, manage logistics activity through the Port of Trois‑Rivières, support Vale’s leased railcar fleet, coordinate storage and service provider performance, and partner with internal teams to help ensure materials move safely, reliably, and cost effectively in alignment with production, business, safety, and regulatory requirements.
