Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, process, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support informed business decisions. You will build complex reports, guide clients on analytics solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders across sectors to operationalize data-driven initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least four years of relevant experience, and proficiency in French, with intermediate English due to interactions with partners and tools.

• Build and develop complex reports using database management systems and make recommendations to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve work methods and processes, and recommend improvements to data management tools.
• Help clients define their needs, make recommendations and provide advice for selecting, implementing and using data management tools.
• Do research and perform descriptive and diagnostic analyses to ensure optimal data use and make recommendations in line with business issues and needs.

As a data analyst, you collect, process, analyze and use data that comes through different channels. You extract, describe, analyze and interpret the data needed to make informed business decisions. You provide guidance and support to clients for analytics solution mandates that involve using data and designing reports adapted to business needs. You use your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business to work on complex business projects and initiatives using data from different databases. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You serve as a data use resource for various stakeholders. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields to understand needs, and present and explain analysis results. More specifically, you will be required to:
