Extendicare, a leading Canadian elder care provider, seeks a Payroll Analyst to manage full-cycle payroll processing at head office in Markham, Ontario, with a hybrid work setup. You will reconcile data, ensure compliance with policies and legislation, and support complex payroll initiatives across the organization.
The role requires strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, XLookup), knowledge of payroll regulations, and experience with large payroll environments.
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of assigned payrolls while ensuring compliance with company policies, collective agreements, and applicable legislation. This role serves as a key contributor within the payroll team, supporting complex payroll functions, reconciliations, issue resolution, and special initiatives. The Payroll Analyst partners closely with HR, site leadership, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality payroll services and an exceptional employee experience.
