Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a Compensation and Analytics specialist to support LTIP administration and data integrity. You will partner with compensation, HR, finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate monthly files, audits, and governance.

The role emphasizes Excel modeling, Power BI reporting, and data-driven decision support. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in compensation/finance analytics, strong Excel skills, and experience with Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in Compensation, Finance, HR Analytics, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
• Advanced Excel and Office proficiency; Power BI experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support LTIP administration and data accuracy through audits and reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based models, reports, and Power BI dashboards to improve insights.
• Prepare quarterly Board materials, annual proxy disclosures, and related reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting and Tax on LTIP reporting and compliance.
• Analyze compensation data to identify trends and support business decisions.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Compensation Advisory, Executive Compensation, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Finance, Accounting, Tax, and external vendors to support the administration and delivery of Nutrien's Long-Term Incentive (LTIP) programs
• Serve as a key resource for LTI-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to participants, HR teams, and business stakeholders
• Prepare, validate and submit monthly LTIP administrative files, ensuring data accuracy through detailed audits, reconciliations and quality checks
• Support the preparation of quarterly Board materials, annual proxy disclosures, and other executive compensation reporting requirements
• Collaborate with Executive Compensation, Finance, Accounting and Tax teams to support quarterly and year-end reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities related to LTIP programs
• Analyze compensation and LTIP data to identify trends, resolve issues, and support business decision-making
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Excel-based models, reports, dashboards, and Power BI solutions to improve reporting efficiency and data insights
• Ensure variable compensation programs align with business objectives and comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Support the administration of Annual Compensation Programs, including data validation, reporting, testing, and process execution
• Participate in compensation projects, process improvements, system enhancements, and testing activities to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain or enhance excel and Power BI-based tools and reporting as part of continuous improvements efforts

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in Compensation, Finance, HR Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Copilot
• Experience developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytics using Power BI or similar reporting tools is preferred
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively under reporting and project deadlines
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of applicable compensation regulations and governance requirements
