Job Description

This role involves primary and secondary processing purposes, including gathering information about user interactions on the site to improve user experience and evaluate advertising effectiveness. How You Will Contribute:

You will contribute to the development of broadband BiCMOS RF driver and transimpedance amplifiers for Ciena’s WaveLogic programs. Your responsibilities include mixed-signal simulation, lab testing, and verification of broadband amplifier ASICs as part of a team.

In this role, you will:

• Perform characterization and lab verification at wafer level for driver and TIA designs.
• Collaborate with designers to understand circuits and measure performance and features.
• Conduct RF circuit simulations using Cadence tools (Virtuoso, ADE, Maestro, etc.) and ADS.
• Work with the team to deliver high-speed circuits.
• Present reports and presentations on work performed, including design, simulations, and measurements.

The Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of analog RF circuit design, including distributed RF broadband amplifiers, lumped element RF amplifiers, or TIAs.
• Experience with wafer, die, and module testing and debugging using probe stations, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, etc.
• Experience developing automation scripts using NI LabVIEW and MATLAB.

The Assets:

• Knowledge of Cadence design flow.
• Experience with mixed-signal simulation using Cadence AMS.
• Knowledge of 3D and 2-1/2D simulators such as HFSS, EMX, Momentum, etc.

Pay Range:

The annual pay range for this position is $83,900 - $134,100. Pay at Ciena varies based on knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and location, reflecting our diverse products and industries.
