Job summary

The Amusement Cashier at Cineplex is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while handling transactions accurately and efficiently at the Rec Room counter. You will promote products, upsell items, and educate guests on how to use offerings to maximize their visit.

This position requires attention to detail, customer service experience, and the ability to work varied shifts. You will maintain a clean counter, follow safety policies, and assist with event setup and teardown,

Responsibilities

• Promote an outstanding entertainment experience for guests.
• Handle cash transactions following Cineplex cash handling procedures.
• Upsell retail items and educate guests on product use.
• Maintain a clean, stocked cashier counter and assist with event setup/teardown.
• Address guest questions and concerns and escalate to Supervisors when needed.

What you will do:The Amusement Cashier will be responsible for promoting an outstanding entertainment experience to our guests in accordance with The Rec Room’s standards of operation. He/she will ensure all transactions are entered correctly adhering to Rec Room policies and procedures. The Amusement Cashier will also be well versed in the Rec Room offerings to educate guests on maximizing their visit.Job Duties:Ensure counter is well maintained, cleaned and well stocked.Delivers exceptional service and entertainment experience to guests.Upsell retail items as well as prizing and help the guest understand how the product functions.Cash handling and processing transactions in accordance with The Rec Room’s standards and The Rec Room’s cash handling procedures.POS proceduresSet up and tear down for functions, events and activitiesEnsures that guests are aware of pricing for special events, promotions and daily eventsEnsure guests adhere to the site and Health and Safety policies and proceduresEffectively handle and relay all guest inquiries, questions, and concerns to the Supervisors/Managers.QualificationsRequirements:Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail.Some experience with customer service preferred.Quick addition skills.Problem solving skills.Good communication skills.Ability to manage a counter and its contents.Work Conditions:Working varied shiftsWorking alone for full shifts.Bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Working with guests of all ages.Additional InformationInterested applicants please apply today.While we appreciate all interest, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
