AMS Service Maintenance & Support Technician - Edmonton

We are seeking local Edmonton and area residents to join our team! The Service Maintenance & Support Technician is responsible for ensuring AMS service tools and equipment are in working condition and completing repairs as needed. This role also involves providing field service technician assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the AMS Frac Business Development & Service Manager, AMS Field Supervisors, and Service Department.
• Assist with maintenance, repairs, certification, and record keeping of tools, equipment, and assets.
• Provide quality service to internal customers.
• Follow all company policies and health and safety requirements.
• Assist with field service, project work, and single trip service work.
• Execute preventative maintenance on AMS tools to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assess equipment condition before repairs or maintenance.
• Coordinate with other departments for scheduled maintenance.
• Clean, align, calibrate, and repair machines and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure company equipment and property are maintained.
• Organize and execute repairs or outsourcing as needed.
• Assist in training Service Technicians.
• Perform hotshot services as required.
• Work with service crew during change outs.
• Maintain scheduled maintenance and certifications for various equipment.
• Provide on-call and after-hours support.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma; 2+ years of gate valve and wellhead service experience preferred.
• Machine maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic tools; field service experience is an asset.
• Experience with blueprints, strong mechanical aptitude, good work ethic.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; ERP knowledge is an asset.
• First Aid, H2S, Fall Arrest, Aerial Lift tickets.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and ability to produce a driver’s abstract.
• Commitment to workplace safety and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
