Responsibilities
- Commissioning and integration of AMR systems at client facilities throughout North America, including travel for on-site deployment and integration with other automated and simple equipment.
- Support detailed solutions design of AMR systems using Ramp products to meet customer requirements, including creating tailored solutions for logistics processes.
- Design AMR maps and develop software logic using third-party systems and PLC logic.
- Author and execute acceptance test plans for system validation.
- Optimize system performance through analysis, simulation, and experimentation.
- Communicate project status and technical details to clients and team members.
- Participate in project planning for software and integration deliverables.
- Provide training to end users and new team members.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues with internal and external teams.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop new product requirements based on lessons learned.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve solutions.
- Support technical setup for demonstrations and trade shows.
- Track expenses such as job costs and travel.
- Ensure activities adhere to ethical standards and company policies.
- Follow health and safety rules at all sites.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- At least 2 years of experience with commissioning and integrating industrial automated equipment or software interfacing with equipment.
- Ability to travel within North America.
- Valid passport and driver’s license.
Education
- Diploma or degree in engineering, design, industrial controls, or related field.
Experience
- Experience working directly with clients / end-users.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems.
- Interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- PLC design and integration experience with platforms like Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Omron, etc.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Experience with AMR / AGV systems integration.
- Training users of automated equipment / software.
