Job summary

Simon-Kucher is seeking a Market Research Manager for the Americas based in Toronto. The role focuses on internal support for consultants with potential client-facing work and leadership of a small in-house team.

You will design and oversee quantitative and qualitative studies, advise on methodology, and collaborate across teams to deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in market research, strong Excel skills, and experience with Conjoint/MaxDiff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of direct market research experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and presenting results from a range of methodologies.
• Experience with quantitative methods (Conjoint, MaxDiff, crosstabs, clustering).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope and design with consultants for RFPs.
• Draft and review survey questions ensuring quality and respondent experience.
• Support programming notes and liaise between programmers and consultants.
• Coach teams on advanced analyses such as MaxDiff and conjoint.
• Oversee fieldwork, vendor coordination, data quality plans and issue resolution.
• Mentor junior staff and manage market research coordinators.
