Execaire Aviation in Canada is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Support to combine hands-on line maintenance with delegated maintenance control responsibilities, ensuring safety, airworthiness and operational readiness of our aircraft.

You will coordinate maintenance activities with Flight Crew, Dispatch, and AMOs, certify tasks, manage MEL/CDL deferrals, and act as the maintenance control point to support dispatch and scheduling decisions in a fast-paced private jet operation.

Qualificações

• 5–10+ years aviation maintenance experience.
• Exposure to Commercial Air Operator maintenance control or fleet coordination.
• Experience with line maintenance, defect assessment, MEL/CDL application, and AOG decision-making.
• Solid knowledge of CARs, MCM, MPM, and OEM technical data.
• Experience with maintenance tracking systems (CAMP, Traxxall, AMOS or equivalent).
• Experience working on Bombardier business aircraft is considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance in accordance with OEM data, CARs, and company manuals
• Support aircraft turnarounds, overnight maintenance, short-notice operational requests, and AOG events
• Certify maintenance tasks and sign maintenance releases for work performed or supervised under ACA authority
• Ensure all maintenance actions are properly documented, traceable, and compliant with technical records requirements
• Exercise authority to ground aircraft when safety or airworthiness is in question
• Apply and manage MEL/CDL deferrals, including M-procedures, placarding, operational limitations, and rectification tracking
• Act as the primary maintenance control point of contact for Flight Crew, Dispatch/OCC, and Maintenance Operations
• Provide real-time technical input supporting dispatch, scheduling, and operational decision-making
• Evaluate and authorize defects against MEL/CDL and approved procedures within delegated authority
• Coordinate AOG events, both in-house and off-site, including engagement of approved external AMOs

Position Overview:

Bring together your technical expertise and operational judgment in a role that directly supports the safety, airworthiness, and operational readiness of our aircraft. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Support, you will combine hands-on line maintenance and certification authority with delegated maintenance control responsibilities.

You will play an important role inmaintaining regulatory compliance and dispatch reliability, performing and certifying maintenance, coordinating maintenance activities with internal and external partners, and exercising maintenance control authority in accordance with the approved Maintenance Control System.

What You Bring to the Role:
