Job description

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Mechanical Systems

PAL Technical Services, a division of PAL Aerospace, is a leader in aircraft maintenance, offering services from modifications to line maintenance, repair, and overhaul. We serve domestic and international markets and manage all aircraft maintenance activities within the PAL Group of Companies.

We are seeking qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our Maintenance, Avionics, and Structures team at our Winnipeg, MB base. Our Heavy Check Operations focus on high-quality heavy maintenance for DHC-8 and ATR aircraft, operating primarily indoors on a 7-day schedule with day and afternoon shifts. No overnight shifts are required.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform scheduled heavy maintenance checks on company and customer aircraft.
  2. Maintain compliance with Transport Canada Regulations.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  4. Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Qualifications
  • Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course or equivalent (e.g., FAA Training).
  • M2, E, or S Aircraft Maintenance License with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in heavy maintenance operations, preferably on Dash 8 and ATR aircraft.
  • Type Course Certification or willingness to obtain it (training provided by PAL).
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Flexible to work various shifts as operational needs dictate.
