Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for an Ambulatory Care assignment in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. This contract role offers outpatient nursing care, patient assessment, education, and care coordination within a collaborative team.

The position requires BC RN licensure, 1+ year ambulatory/outpatient experience, BLS, and strong communication skills. On-site assignment with competitive pay and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Minimum of one year of ambulatory care, outpatient, primary care, or acute care nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Experience administering medications and supporting outpatient procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in Ambulatory Care.
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor conditions, and document findings.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
