A leading company in healthcare is seeking an Ambulance Readiness Technician to ensure the safety and readiness of medical equipment used by paramedics. This part-time position involves sanitizing equipment, performing vehicle checks, and maintaining stock and supplies. Ideal candidates will possess effective communication skills, a Grade 10 education, and the physical capacity for lifting and cleaning duties.

Reporting to the Manager, the Ambulance Readiness Technician (ART) is responsible for sanitizing and processing critical medical equipment, restocking supplies on vehicles, performing and documenting vehicle checks, receiving goods, and maintaining stockroom and work areas to maximize BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) resource availability. Ensure quality assurance and improvement for related items, in accordance with BCAS policies and procedures, prior to and during vehicle shifts.
This position requires working rotating shifts and some overnight travel. Must have the physical ability to perform all functions, including cleaning, sanitizing, stocking ambulances, proper PPE use, and lifting up to 40kg.
Education, Training, and Experience: Grade 10, related experience, or an equivalent combination. Valid Class 5 driver’s license REQUIRED.
