This full-time opportunity is based in Toronto.

A day in the life

As a Software Engineer, You Will:

1. Identify and develop software solutions to current business problems
2. Collaborate with your manager and team to create milestones and deliverables
3. Participate in daily scrums and reviews
4. Develop documentation and lead reviews with other engineers
5. Write code and unit tests, and integrate software with hardware components
6. Prototype and test concepts via simulation tools, emulators, and live robotic equipment
7. Work directly with customers to test prototypes and incorporate feedback
8. Utilize Amazon Robotics and Amazon engineering tools, processes, and technologies

Basic Qualifications

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Bachelor's degree in a computer science-related field or 1+ years of equivalent experience
• Graduation date before June 2025

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software applications from internships, projects, hackathons, or personal work
• Proficient communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams
• Experience with creative problem solving and articulating technical challenges
• Exposure to AWS, web technologies, schedulers, workflows, multi-threading, networking protocols
• Interest or coursework in Robotics
