Key Responsibilities

• Build efficient automation suites to meet high standards of quality.
• Exercise high judgment to balance quality and strategic trade-offs, moving quickly to meet customer needs.
• Bring clarity to complex architectures, probe assumptions, and identify pitfalls with data to ensure high product confidence.

Daily Activities

The CASPR team within RST owns Pod Software, supporting customers worldwide in fulfillment centers by inducting, transferring, and troubleshooting pods.

About The Team

As a Software Development Engineer in Robotic Storage Technologies (RST), you will develop and deploy scalable, reliable full-stack software systems using AWS that impact thousands of users daily. Our solutions are intuitive, accessible, and centered on customer needs, reimagining Amazon’s fulfillment technologies for the future. Your work will enable human and robotic fulfillment at scale, leading design and development of critical systems across multiple teams. You will identify the right technologies to meet high customer standards, mentor other engineers, and foster a culture of high standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
• 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Proficiency in at least one programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
