Job Description AltaGas - Millwright/Heavy-Duty Mechanic - RIPET AltaGas is seeking a Millwright/Heavy-Duty Mechanic to support mechanical maintenance activities at the RIPET Facility reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, this role will focus on maintaining rotating equipment, performing repairs, and supporting reliability initiatives across the facility. Your primary focus will be to ensure all work aligns with AltaGas’ Core Values: safety, collaboration, integrity, inclusion, and learning. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. This position is based full-time in Prince Rupert, BC, and follows a Monday to Thursday schedule, consisting of four 10-hour workdays per week.
We offer a competitive salary of $70.53/ hour for this position, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement. AltaGas is also proud to provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off starting on day one.
