Job summary

AltaGas is seeking an Asset Management Intern to support the commercial management of gas gathering and processing assets in our midstream operations. You will work with the Asset Management team on commercial agreements, forecasting, budgeting, and evaluating growth opportunities to drive asset performance.

• Currently enrolled in your 3rd year of a Bachelor of Commerce program.
• Specialization in Energy Management, Business Analytics, Economics or Finance preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate opportunities and support decision-making.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commercial and negotiating mindset; interest in energy markets and asset management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

About the Role

As an Asset Management Intern, you will support the commercial management of AltaGas's gas gathering and processing assets. Working alongside the Asset Management team, you will gain hands-on experience managing commercial agreements, evaluating growth opportunities, supporting capital projects, and participating in forecasting and budgeting activities that help drive the performance of our midstream business.

This role is ideal for students interested in commercial strategy, energy markets, asset management, and business operations within the energy industry.

What You'll Do
