Job summary

Reitmans (Canada) Limited, the parent of RW&CO, PENN and Reitmans, is hiring an Allocation Analyst. You will translate sales and inventory insights into action, ensuring the right styles, sizes, and quantities are where they need to be.

You will work with Buying, Planning and Merchandising to align on seasonal strategies and goals. This role blends fashion with analytics, offering growth in merchandise allocation and inventory analysis within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Fashion Marketing or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with curiosity for data-driven solutions.
• Experience in retail, allocation, merchandise planning, inventory management or related analytics role.
• Interest in fashion, retail trends and product performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales trends, inventory levels and store/ecommerce performance to inform allocation decisions.
• Collaborate with Buying, Planning and Merchandising to understand seasonal collections and priorities.
• Monitor inventory and adjust allocations based on demand and promotions.
• Identify opportunities to improve product availability, turnover and performance across stores and digital channels.
• Build and maintain allocation reports, inventory data and size profiles.
• Coordinate with Distribution Centre partners to ensure efficient product flow to stores.

You’ll turn sales and inventory insights into action, helping ensure the right styles, sizes and quantities are in the right place at the right time. Working closely with our Buying, Planning and Merchandising teams, you’ll stay connected to the world of fashion while building your analytical skills and making a real impact on the business.

What You'll Do

• Analyze sales trends, inventory levels and store and ecommerce performance to make smart allocation decisions that support sales and product availability.
• Work closely with Buying, Planning and Merchandising teams to understand seasonal collections, product strategies and business priorities.
• Monitor inventory and adjust merchandise allocations based on customer demand, selling trends and upcoming promotions.
• Identify opportunities to improve product availability, inventory turnover and performance across stores and digital channels.
• Build and maintain accurate allocation reports, inventory data and size profiles to support effective merchandise distribution.
• Collaborate with Distribution Centre partners to ensure products flow efficiently to stores and support new store openings.
• Review end-of-season results, identify key learnings and recommend opportunities to improve future allocations.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• A degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Fashion Marketing or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail, allocation, merchandise planning, inventory management or a related analytical role.
• A genuine interest in fashion, retail trends and understanding what drives product performance.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a curiosity for working with data and finding solutions.
• Good Excel skills and an eagerness to learn new systems and reporting tools.
• A collaborative, organized and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
