Job summary

Reitmans (Canada) Limited is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst in Montreal to advance budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance across Merchandising, Store Ops, Supply Chain and E‑commerce.

The role partners with cross‑functional teams to translate data into actionable insights, challenge numbers, and shape business decisions in a evolving Canadian retail landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years FP&A or similar analytical role.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
• Comfortable with Excel; able to organize, consolidate, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Analytical and curious; able to interpret financial information and communicate findings clearly.
• Bilingual in French and English to collaborate across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working with business teams to consolidate inputs, maintain accuracy, and understand key business drivers.

Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and planning, while helping translate financial data into meaningful insights.

Monitor performance against budget and forecast, analyze variances, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across sales, margins, and other key performance indicators.

Partner with teams across Merchandising, Store Operations, Supply Chain, and E-commerce to understand business needs and provide financial analysis that supports day-to-day and longer-term decisions.

Prepare management reporting and contribute to improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to make information clearer, more efficient, and easier to use.

Qualifications

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
