Integrated Geomatics Inc. (IGI) has an immediate opening for an Alberta Land Surveyor based out of our Calgary office, with remote work options available. Our multidisciplinary team at IGI supports client development activities by pairing survey and environmental services, including planning, permitting, environmental assessments and monitoring, and GIS mapping and design.

In this position, the successful applicant will bring technical expertise, and a passion for quality to our projects with customers throughout Alberta in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

•Execute a variety of Surveys in the Oil and Gas Industry

•Supervise and mentor field and drafting staff

•Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and standards set by the Alberta Land Surveyors’ Association (ALSA)

•Review and sign survey plans, field notes, and final documents

•Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of technical experts

Qualifications:

•Active commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor (ALS) in good standing.

•Minimum 3 years of related experience (post-commission preferred) in the oil and gas industry

•Proficient with survey software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroSurvey, Trimble Business Center, etc.).

•Experience working with LiDAR data, UAV photogrammetry, and other remotely sensed datasets for terrain modeling, volume calculations, or site planning

•Demonstrated proficiency with technology and regulatory requirements

•Excellent research and analytical skills
