Job summary

Alair Homes Aurora | Lake Simcoe is seeking a Site Manager to lead day-to-day on-site execution across multiple residential projects. This hands-on role requires travel between sites, coordinating trades, maintaining schedules, and upholding quality standards to ensure client satisfaction.

You will oversee safety, review drawings, and resolve issues promptly while managing logistics and site cleanliness. A 5+ year track record in high-end residential construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential construction or site supervision experience.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
• Reliable personal vehicle – preference for a truck.
• Experience with custom homes or high-end renovations.
• Familiarity with Ontario Building Code.
• Experience within a construction management model.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations across multiple residential construction projects.

• On-site Safety Representative (Conduct Toolbox meetings, Trade Orientation Forms, etc.).
• Conduct regular site visits across all active projects.
• Ensure sites are clean, safe, and organized.
• Review drawings and scopes to ensure proper execution.
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively.
• Maintain project schedules through active trade coordination.
• Perform quality control inspections at key stages.
• Track and report site progress and deficiencies to Project Managers.
• Assist with material deliveries and site logistics.
• Enforce site standards and accountability.
• Support project completion and deficiency resolution.
• Minor on-tool work when required.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Site Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on construction environment. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional work on-site.
The Site Manager will be primarily responsible for day-to-day site execution across multiple active projects, ensuring that trades are performing, schedules are maintained, and quality standards are upheld.
