Job summary

MDA Space in Montreal is seeking an AIT Project Manager to join our Satellite Systems team. You will review requests from AIT managers, plan resources, budgets and schedules, and manage risks to meet cost and schedule objectives.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external clients, ensure station readiness, and support monthly progress reviews, with a strong emphasis on bilingual communication (French and English) and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in program/project management or project engineering in a related technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in negotiations, risk management, contract management, subcontract management, finance, and U.S. ITAR regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Proactive, dynamic, resourceful, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in French and English with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Reviews requests from AIT managers, implements and assists in planning resources needed to manage the line or program.
• Assists AIT managers with budget management and develops or improves financial management tools.
• Prepares detailed schedules to track program progress and assesses costs to date and remaining estimates.
• Develops contingency plans to meet cost and schedule objectives.
• Identifies and manages risks and opportunities related to the program or integration line.
• Monitors progress on integration and continuous improvement projects.
• Assists AIT managers in ensuring station readiness.
• Maintains visibility into schedules for internal clients and supports monthly reviews of AIT teams.
