Job summary

SSP Canada operates multiple restaurants inside Billy Bishop Airport. Our Servers enjoy engaging with our guests while serving hand-crafted beverages and delicious food. Our servers are up-to-date on trends in the alcoholic beverage industry.

They have experience crafting beverages and serving them with attention to detail. Our restaurants are fast-paced and our servers can work quickly with accuracy and deliver outstanding customer service without breaking a sweat!

Qualifications

One year serving experience required.
Smart Serve required.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
Verbal and written English language.
Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with guests and take orders.
Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register and manage charges.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and courteously.
Input orders into the POS and generate checks.
Handle cash, make change, verify charges and vouchers.
Maintain bar setup and stock of garnishes, juices, and perishables.
Ensure compliance with liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
Perform general cleaning to meet health standards.
