Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience in security.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and understanding English.
• Must pass a drug test including marijuana.
• Must obtain a Denver Guard Card and have prior security guard experience.
• Technologically proficient with security systems.
• Ability to stay calm and act effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and courteous interaction with diverse individuals.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures meticulously.
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform patrols.

Responsibilities

• Secure assets and spaces and oversee critical areas.
• Maintain authority and deter criminal activity.
• Conduct security patrols and ground inspections.
• Respond to threats and hazardous situations.
• Provide aid and protect individuals in need.
• Enforce security measures and detain violators when needed.
• Control gate and door access with strict entry protocols.

• Conduct thorough security screenings of passengers, luggage, and cargo using X-ray and detectors.
• Provide excellent customer service with professionalism.
• Collaborate with airport staff and law enforcement to coordinate efforts.
