Paladin Airport Security Services is seeking Pre-Board Screening Officers for Smithers Airport (YYD). You will screen passengers and baggage, provide information with integrity, and uphold safety at airport checkpoints.

We offer paid training at $21.97/hour, then $25.03/hour after training, with comprehensive benefits and a great uniform. Strong English skills and local residency are valued during selection.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service in a high-volume environment.
• Open availability to work any shift, including mornings, nights and holidays.
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken; French is an asset.
• Ability to comply with CATSA medical requirements.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Resident of Smithers or surrounding area.

Responsabilités

• Screen passengers and baggage at airport security checkpoints.
• Provide information professionally and with integrity.
• Scan and test baggage for prohibited items using X-ray, detectors and other tech.
• Protect restricted areas and manage conflicts.
• Communicate clearly and uphold regulations with vigilance.
